Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and Stefan de Vrij are physically fit to play in the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Juventus on Sunday.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that pair are recovered from their respective calf injuries, and that the next week of training will be decisive for determining whether they can get up to full match fitness.

Both Brozovic and de Vrij have been working throughout the international break to put the calf injuries which caused them to miss Inter’s last two matches behind them, including during the weekend when their teammates were given time off.

In both cases, they look to have made a full physical recovery in terms of the muscles in the affected areas in their calves.

Now it just remains to be seen how the players’ bodies respond to an increased workload during their return to full training over the next few day.
