Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and defender Stefan de Vrij are aiming to be back in full training either tomorrow or Wednesday.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the pair are nearly done with their course of individual training and physiotherapy to get past their calf injuries.

Both Brozovic and de Vrij have been working patiently to get back to full fitness after suffering calf injuries in the team’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg against Liverpool earlier this month.

Both players are very much in the final stretch of their recovery processes, and they are now targeting a return to training along with their teammates either tomorrow or Wednesday, with both having worked through the weekend.

Meanwhile, striker Lautaro Martinez has also been back in training after testing negative for COVID-19 and ending his mandatory period of self-isolation, and it looks certain that the Argentine will start against Juventus on Sunday.
