Inter are set to go head to head with Juventus for the signature of Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori during the summer transfer window.

This according to yesterday’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri are both seriously interested in signing the 21-year-old.

Raspadori has been an Inter target for some time, though their interest looks to have cooled on him in recent months.

However, the Nerazzurri’s pursuit of the young forward has never gone completely cold, and according to the Gazzetta he remains a consideration as they look to reinforce their squad with young Italian players.

Meanwhile, the Bianconeri have also stepped up their interest for Raspadori recently, especially as they will likely be ready to make a significant attacking signing to replace the outgoing Paulo Dybala.

It remains to be seen which of the two clubs will seriously step up their interest, but they could be headed for a major transfer battle over Raspadori.
