Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and Stefan de Vrij are set to make their returns to full training with the rest of the squad between today and tomorrow.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the duo worked individually on the pitch yesterday and that they will be reintroduced into the group in the next couple days.

Brozovic and de Vrij have both been spending the international break working on fully recovering from the calf injuries which caused them to miss the Nerazzurri’s last two matches before the break.

There has never been any rush to get them back to full training as the club want no risks taken with their fitness, but they will be ready to join the group for preparations for Sunday’s match against Juventus as teammates begin filtering in from international duty.

Meanwhile, it remains unclear when Matias Vecino will return to training having tested negative for COVID-19 but not yet flown back from Uruguay.
