Inter have strongly denied rumoured interest in River Plate left back Fabrizio Angileri who has been linked as a replacement for Ivan Perisic, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Inter are still focused on extending the contract of Croatian winger Ivan Perisic who will be available to leave on a free transfer this summer as it stands.

Argentinian media have linked Inter with 28-year-old River Plate winger Fabrizio Angileri who is out of contract in the summer and holds an Italian passport.

Inter still want to keep Ivan Perisic but at the moment his financial requests are too much. There is no denying that Inter will need a backup for Robin Gosens if Ivan Perisic does leave, but that backup will not be Fabrizio Angileri.

It is likely that many other names in that position will start to be linked with Inter now as the season draws to a close.
