Inter legend Beppe Bergomi has said that Paulo Dybala will be eager to show what he can do if he joins Inter from Juventus at the end of this season, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Beppe Bergomi explained that he feels very different to many other people and thinks it will be great for Paulo Dybala’s career if he leaves Juventus for Inter.

“I go against the tide. Many believe that this could have a negative impact, but as a player I think he will be very excited, eager to show what he can do. If he plays, he will give everything. Just as I don’t think Allegri will be influenced by his choices.”

One of the reservations that a lot of people have over a move for Paulo Dybala is his ability to play in the 3-5-2 system that Inter use under Simone Inzaghi.

Beppe Bergomi believes that he can play in a two upfront as long as the other striker alongside is the kind who can stretch the defence and run into the channels.

“With another type of striker at his side, yes. I mean, at least one of the two strikers has to stretch the team. If, on the other hand, everyone comes to meet you, the depth will give you the wingers but it’s not the same thing.”

It became clear in the past couple of weeks that Juventus would not be offering Paulo Dybala the contract that he wants.
