Inter’s hopes of signing Torino defender Gleison Bremer This Summer to Replace Stefan de Vrij remain alive and well, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Gleison Bremer is the player that Inter have chosen as their primary central defensive transfer target for the summer window.

His arrival is almost entirely dependent on the sale of Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij who will be out of contract in June 2023. Inter are open to selling him for a fee that can be reinvested into Gleison Bremer.

The Brazilian defender signed a new deal earlier this season but he was given a promise by Torino President Urbano Cairo that he could be sold for at least €25 million in the summer.

The Nerazzurri have been in regular contact with the entourage of the player to make it clear that they are serious about giving him a contract.
