There is a chance that Inter defender Robin Gosens may be asked to play on the left of the midfield three against Juventus if Marcelo Brozovic is not fit, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Marcelo Brozovic is working hard to make sure he is fit enough to start against Juventus on Sunday evening.

He has been suffering from a calf injury for three weeks now but has a chance of making his comeback against the Bianconeri.

If he does not recover, Simone Inzaghi has an issue in midfield. Both Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino areas struggling for fitness due to international commitments and Covid-19 respectively.

One hypothesis is that the midfield will be made up of Hakan Calhanoglu in the centre, Nicolo Barella to his right and Robin Gosens to his left. Roberto Gagliardini is another option for Inter in midfield.
