Simone Inzaghi Wants To End Inter’s Struggles In Turin & Improve His Own Record Of Finishing Campaigns Poorly, Italian Media Report

Inter boss Simone Inzaghi has two primary reasons to beat Juventus this Sunday when the two teams face each other at the Allianz Stadium, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Simone Inzaghi wants to be the coach who ends Inter’s long run without a win against Juventus in Turin.

The last time Inter beat the Bianconeri was 2012, when Andrea Stramaccioni was in charge. It would mean a lot to Simone Inzaghi if he could bring that poor record to an end at the first time of asking.

The coach himself has other personal reasons as to why a win on Sunday night is so important. He has a tendency to finish seasons poorly.

His best record over the final eight games of a season at Lazio came in 2017-18 but he only acquired 15 points with four wins, three draws and a defeat.
