Former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi has said that he expects to see a response from Inter against Juventus after their poor recent form, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with TMW Radio, via FCInternews, Alessio Tacchinardi explained that if Inter cannot muster a response after the bad couple of months they have had, then it will be very difficult for them to win the title.

“I expect a strong response from Inter. If they do not win after a month like this, then it becomes difficult.”

He added that Inter must watch out because he expects Juventus to play a very compact game that will limit space for the Nerazzurri’s attacking players. This is a trademark of Juventus under Max Allegri and it is likely to be what happens on Sunday night.

“I expect a block, all beautifully compact behind, a bit like Juve-Chelsea. I say this because when they found tight teams, Inter suffered from not having space. Allegri, knowing how he prepares them, can be very annoying.”

Both of these teams come into the game on Sunday night at the Allianz Stadium knowing that a defeat will likely put an end to any title aspirations that they have this season.
