Inter will need to see the best version of Nicolo Barella that has been missing in recent weeks when they face Juventus on Sunday night, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian midfielder has not been at his best for the past few weeks after he appeared to suffer from playing so many games at such a high intensity.

As Inter approach their most important match of the season so far and the all-important Serie A title race run-in, they need their Sardinian midfielder to recapture the form he was showing last season and in the first half of this season.

One of his best moments in an Inter short came last season when Inter faced Juventus in January 2021. He set up a goal for Arturo Vidal and then scored one excellently himself to give Inter a 2-0 victory.
