Italian journalist Enzo Bucchioni has said that Inter can not rely on an attack of Palo Dybala and Lautaro Martinez as it is not physical enough, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by his column on Tuttomercatoweb, Enzo Bucchioni feels that Inter need to have two strikers who compliment each other rather than two that are very similar to each other.

That is why Juventus’s Paulo Dybala would not be able to play alongside Lautaro Martinez.

“The idea is to put together Dybala and Scamacca. One invents and scores quality goals, the other uses his body and waits for assists. It is unthinkable, in fact, to rely on a less physical attack with Lautaro and Dybala.

“The Nerazzurri need a big striker like Lukaku was and Dzeko is now, with different characteristics. Lautaro and Dybala, if you like, neither of them are suitable to make the first striker and together they would struggle.”

In terms of how a transfer for Paulo Dybala would work, Enzo Bucchioni thinks that it would be very possible for Inter to free up the money to pay his wages. The issue is that they need more than just Paulo Dybala this summer.

“Dybala, however, is the perfect operation for Inter who must strengthen without weighing on the budgets. It will cost a salary and this is obvious, but with Sanchez going out, the accounts could already be even.

“But Dybala alone is not enough, and with Dzeko at the end of his time the Nerazzurri attack needs a good centre forward for today, but above all to grow for the future.”

Building on what Inter should be doing in the summer, selling Lautaro Martinez is a real possibility that Enzo Bucchioni thinks could open many doors for Inter.

“Lautaro has a market in Spain but also in the Premier League and is currently worth about €70 million on Transfermarkt. This money could be used to close the Scamacca operation with Sassuolo, valued at €40 million, with residual cash to invest perhaps in a vice-Brozovic.”
