Matteo Darmian is more likely to start on the right wing than Denzel Dumfries when Inter take on Juventus on Sunday, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport, via FCInternews, the Italian defender is more likely to be Simone Inzaghi’s choice to play on the right flank on Sunday evening.

It is assumed that this is because he is more defensively solid than Denzel Dumfries and avoiding defeat against Juventus is extremely important.

Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez are expected to lead the line with Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu and the recovered Marcelo Brozovic behind them.

Stefan de Vrij is not expected to recover so Danilo D’Ambrosio will be in the defensive three instead. He will be on the right with Milan Skriniar in the centre and Alessandro Bastoni.

Juventus boss Max Allegri may use Paulo Dybala in a two with Dusan Vlahovic.
