Former Hellas Verona midfielder Antonio Di Gennaro has said that Sunday’s clash between Inter and Juventus will be decisive and that Juventus must be taken seriously if they win, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with TMW Radio yesterday, via FCInter1908, Antonio Di Gennaro explained that Juventus will have to find something different to beat Inter on Sunday night and Inter must regroup and play like they were before.

“To beat Inter, Juventus will have to propose something different in terms of the game, while the Nerazzurri will have to regroup again. It will certainly be decisive.”

He then added that if the Bianconeri were to win the game at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, they would be breathing down the necks of AC Milan and Napoli and would have to be seen as something more than just a flash in the pan.

“If Juve were to win, they would put their breath on the neck of the others and when they arrive, one has to think that it is not a flash in the pan.”

Juventus have been on a good run of form in 2022 and that is why they are now in the picture to win the Scudetto after only one season away.
