Former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi has said that Inter will be right back in the hunt for the Scudetto if they beat Juventus on Sunday evening, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview on TMW Radio, via FCInter1908, Alessio Tacchinardi explained that Inter can get right back into the Serie A title race if they beat Juventus on Sunday night at the Allianz Stadium.

“If Inter win, you see them right back up there. But Inter have a game to make up for and they are mentally heavy. Winning in Turin, however, can really give them the final starting point they need.”

Inter have been in a very bad patch of form in 2022 so far and that is why they are potentially one defeat away from being out of the picture when it comes to the Serie A title race.

Alessio Tacchinardi feels that they have been lacking intensity lately, Nicolo Barella being a prime example of a quality player who has lost his way.

“Inter lacks intensity. The maximum example is Barella, who is having difficulty finding a rhythm.”

In terms of who the key players will be in this game, Alessio Tacchinardi chose a Balkan striker from each team.

“For Juve, Vlahovic, who if served in an important way can break the balance. On the other hand, Dzeko, because in the middle nobody excites me, even in Juve.”
