Italian journalist Fabio Caressa believes that midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and wingback Ivan Perisic will be Inter’s key men in tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Juventus.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Deejay, Caressa named the Croatian duo as the players who can tilt the match in the Nerazzurri’s favour, while he named Paulo Dybala who can be decisive for the Bianconeri.

Brozovic and Perisic have been two of Inter’s standout players virtually throughout the season, and even though Brozovic was not available for the two matches before the international break due to injury and Perisic’s form has tailed off slightly, they remain so.

If the pair can make a decisive push over the last couple months of the season starting with tomorrow’s match against Juventus, then they could help Inter get back to their best form in the run-in.

Caressa stated that “Do we want to present it as the game of the players or not? In my opinion Dybala, Perisic and Brozovic could be decisive.”

He also spoke about the current Inter side compared to last season’s Scudetto-winners, stating that “Last year’s Inter were stronger than this year’s.”

He went on that “Aginst Liverpool, Inzaghi didm’t make the changes to try to score the second goal, and said he has to think about the other matches, it’s a mistake of mentality, as is considering the 2-0 first leg loss at home a good match.”

“If that’s a good match,” he suggested, “help, we have a problem. It was Inter’s biggest error of the season. Juve vs. Inter will allow us to understand many things.”
