Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has made keeping Dusan Vlahovic off the scoresheet a key aspect of his plans for tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Juventus.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach is working on getting the team’s defensive structure back to its best to cope with the threat of the Serb.

Milan Skriniar is set to start in the centre of the back three for the Nerazzurri tomorrow with Stefan de Vrij not yet ready to start.

The Slovenian will be tasked with man-marking Vlahovic who is the Bianconeri’s major goal threat, and Inzaghi trusts him to minimize the striker’s influence by limiting his time and space on the ball and options to receive in dangerous areas.

Skriniar will not be the only player instructed to be wary of Vlahovic, however, with both Danilo D’Ambrosio on the right and Alessandro Bastoni on the left potentially being asked to give additional coverage when he is in certain areas of the pitch.

Holding midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will also be given a marking assignment on the Serb in certain situation, as Inzaghi looks to make sure that the striker cannot be made the focal point in attack for the Bianconeri.
