Lille midfielder Xeka has been offered to Inter on a free transfer during the summer transfer window, but they do not consider the Poruguese a major target.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 27-year-old has been proposed as a possible signing by his entourage.

The Nerazzurri are in the lookout for a midfielder who can back up Marcelo Brozovic in the regista role heading into next season, while versatility and low cost are other qualities that they are seeking.

Xeka would arrive on a free transfer given that his current deal with French champions Lille is set to expire at the end of June and he will not extend with the Ligue 1 side.

However, the Nerazzurri are currently looking at other targets to strengthen their midfield and they do not consider Xeka to be a major consideration for the summer transfer window.
