Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is in virtually the most tense mood he’s ever been in as Nerazzuri coach ahead of this evening’s Serie A clash with Inter.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach is fully feeling the importance of the occasion and is on edge.

Inzaghi is coming up against the Bianconeri for the third time as Inter coach, having already faced them at San Siro in the league and then in the Supercoppa Italiana match.

However, this promises to be the most significant match against this opposition in terms of deciding the course of Inter’s season.

This is true not only in terms of the importance of the result in the Scudetto race, but also in terms of laying out Inzaghi’s absolute credentials as Inter coach in one of the team’s most anticipated and intense fixtures of their season.

Inzaghi has not been known for his tense demeanour since joining the Nerazzurri last summer, but right now he is feeling the pressure of one of his biggest nights in charge of the team.
