Inter’s Serie A clash with Juventus this evening could be decided by which of Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko or Paulo Dybala and Dusan Vlahovic are in their best form.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who suggest that the match could come down to a duel of the two strike pairs based on which are on target.

Each of the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri are set to start with an Argentine in a key role in attack, in the form of Martinez and Dybala respectively.

So far this season, Martinez has scored fourteen goals across 27 league appearances whilst Dybala has made 21 appearances and found the back of the net eight times.

Moreover, both have scored in this fixture from the penalty spot already this season, Dybala in the league edition at the San Siro and Martinez to equalize in the Nerazzurri’s win in the Supercoppa Italiana.

Both players can be decisive on their day, and which turns up at their best could become a factor in this evening’s massive head-to-head match.

Meanwhile, Dzeko and Vlahovic are at opposite ends of their careers, with the experienced Bosnian having added solidity and technical class to the Nerazzurri’s attack this season whilst the Serb has already added incisiveness in front of goal since joining Juventus in January.

The two players are not only at the opposite end of the experience spectrum but also stylistically, and the question of whether Dzeko’s all-around play or Vlahovic’s nose for goal in the penalty area becomes more operative could decide the match.
