Juventus head coach Max Allegri feels that his team ultimately have to accept their loss to Inter yesterday evening and work hard to come back stronger.

Speaking while receiving the “Tapiro D’Oro” award, as reported by FCInter1908, the Bianconeri coach had no complaints about the refereeing in the match and accepted that they have to live with the result.

Juventus played well for long periods of the ninety minutes against the Nerazzurri, but they were unable to find the breakthrough in attack and they conceded the game’s only goal from a penalty late in the first half.

The result was a massive one in the context of Inter’s Scudetto pursuit, and a damaging blow for the Bianconeri who are surely out of contention for the title now and must also look over at Atalanta and Roma to keep their fourth place spot safe.

Allegri is disappointed that his side lost, but ultimately knows well enough that bad results are something that will come to every team in football.

“Defeats are part of football,: he said, “we have to go on because the season is not over – finishing top is now virtually unattainable, we have to be careful of Mourinho’s Roma who are just behind us, and also Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia,”, he said.

Of the officiating in the match, he said that “Irrati was very good, he refereed well. Sometimes the decisions go the way of one side, and sometimes the way of the other.”
