Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is strongly considering giving defender Stefan de Vrij and forward Joaquin Correa a start in Saturday’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the coach is thinking of changing up his team in defense and attack, and that Denzel Dumfries and Ivan Perisic are still the favourites to start on the wings.

De Vrij was fit enough to be called up for Inter’s win over Juventus on Sunday, but he did not appear as the coach decided that he was not yet ready to be risked.

In his place Danilo D’Ambrosio started on the right of the backline while Milan Skriniar took the Dutchman’s customary central position, but Inzaghi is ready to start de Vrij centrally and Skriniar on the right against the Gialloblu.

Meanwhile, Correa is the favourite ahead of Alexis Sanchez to start in place of the suspended Lautaro Martinez in attack, while Dumfries and Perisic are likelier to start than Matteo Darmian and Robin Gosens respectively.
