Inter President Steven Zhang is happy with the direction that the club is headed in, and has a very clear plan to continue in the current direction.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the President is on the same wavelength as coach Simone Inzaghi and the directors.

Zhang has had to deal with some difficult circumstances for the Nerazzurri in the form of financial restrictions caused the drop in revenues caused by the pandemic and by debt and liquidity issues at parent company Suning.

However, the work of last summer appears to have been successful, with coach Simone Inzaghi having been brought in to rebuild the team after the departure of several Scudetto winners to mean financial targets.

Now, the President wants to keep going, hoping for a second Serie A title in a row right away, and he is totally happy with his relationship with Inzaghi and with the directors, who all share a philosophy of building around young players for the future.
