Like Jose Mourinho in that season, Simone Inzaghi accomplished this feat in his very first campaign in charge of the Nerazzurri, while the coach also managed to guide the Nerazzurri to a win over the Bianconeri in the Supercoppa Italiana.
This was highlighted in a tweet by football statistics account Opta, which reads “2008/09 – Inter have remained unbeaten in both the seasonal Serie A meetings against Juventus for the first time since the 2008/09 campaign, winning their first away top-flight match against the Bianconeri since November 2012.
