Former Inter owner Massimo Moratti has said that Simone Inzaghi has done a good job as Inter boss but he still feels like criticising him sometimes, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

Speaking during an interview on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, via FCInternews, Massimo Moratti explained that Simone Inzaghi has done well to create a different atmosphere around the team since Antonio Conte left the club at the end of the title-winning season.

“He inherited the Italian championship-winning team, he was very good at creating a climate different from that of Conte.”

He then added that given Inter are now in a bad patch of form and may not win the title, he now feels like criticising the former Lazio coach.

“Now he has entered a bit of a crisis and sometimes I feel like criticising him.”

Despite being the former owner of Inter, Massimo Moratti admitted that he would like to see Napoli win the Scudetto this season as they have players that he really enjoys watching. He also feels that they have the capability to win it.

“It would be wonderful if Napoli could win, but this does not mean that I don’t continue to cheer for the Nerazzurri. Napoli is the strongest team, for me they are the favourite. If I could I would take Koulibaly to the Azzurri; Osimhen is a fantastic player, I like him very much.”
