Inter have a clear idea of the terms of Milan Skriniar’s proposed new contract, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have a figure in mind for the Slovakian’s new wage and a desired length of the contract.

Milan Skriniar has made it clear to the club that he wants to stay beyond the end of his contract that runs out in 2023.

Formal talks are not expected to take place until the end of the season but Inter will offer him a contract like Nicolo Barella’s.

That means a salary of €4.5 million which could exceed €5 million in the following seasons. The deal will run until 2026.

There is excellent relations between the player and the club and it is not thought that negotiations will be difficult at all. The Slovakian has been a key performer this season.
