Inter youngster Lorenzo Pirola could be used by Inter as part of a deal for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca in the summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the young defender who is currently on loan at Serie B side Monza could find himself playing for Sassuolo next season if the Neroverdi agrees to make him part of the deal for Gianluca Scamacca.

It is expected that if Monza get promoted to Serie A this season they will attempt to exercise their option to buy him permanently. Inter could just choose to bring him back to Appiano Gentile and use him to help their pursuit of other transfer targets.

Inter are at risk of missing out on Gianluca Scamacca this summer as they currently need to offload players before they can enter any serious transfer negotiations with the likes of Paulo Dybala and Gianluca Scamacca.
