There is a clear lack of chemistry between Inter strikers Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez this season, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Libero today, Inter are in an unusual paradigm with their two main strikers right now where the working relationship is clearly not excellent, but the team are Serie A’s top scorers.

It is perhaps a sign of how the top teams now operate that the four highest-scoring players in Serie A do not play for Inter, AC Milan, or Napoli, the top three teams in the league.

Inter have scored 63 goals so far this season but there has rarely been a time where Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez have looked as fluid and connected as the Argentine did when playing alongside Romelu Lukaku.

It is clear that if there was a sudden click between the two forwards, Inter would be in total control of the Scudetto.
