Young Genoa left back Andrea Cambiaso is a target for Inter if they cannot get Ivan Perisic to sign a new deal with the club, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by the Roman newspaper Corriere dello Sport today, Genoa’s young left back Andrea Cambiaso is attracting a lot of attention and Inter are one of many interested teams.

In order to make that deal work, Inter could use young Belgian defender Zinho Vanheusden who is already on loan at Genoa and has performed well when injuries have permitted him to play.

Another option is to use a different academy player such as Samuele Mulattieri or Sebastiano Esposito, both of which would be very useful for Genoa.

Inter are doing all they can to get Ivan Perisic to sign a new deal and that is the priority, but Andrea Cambiaso could be a target regardless of the Croatian’s future.
