Italian transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has said that Inter’s attack can be revolutionised in the summer if Lautaro Martinez is sold by the club, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during a program on Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, Gianluca Dim Marzio explained that the money raised by selling Lautaro Martinez would give Inter the chance to totally change their attacking department.

“It depends on Lautaro: if Lautaro leaves, Inter’s attack could be revolutionised. Should he remain, another striker will be signed but it will have to be with a lower budget.”

He then explained that there is always the possibility of Paulo Dybala arriving at the club but he does not feel they are particularly desperate to sign the Argentine right now.

“There is always Dybala. We didn’t feel Inter were very hot on him, but you can be cold today and warm up tomorrow: today they don’t block him, they haven’t told him they will take him.

“He has a high salary and if his demands are what he had at Juve, they are still important: Inter still has to reduce the number of salaries.”

In terms of raising money for salaries, the main source of money would be Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez.

“For Vidal there is the possibility of terminating the contract with a high severance pay: I think he will arrive at this conclusion. Sanchez has another year at very high figures.”
