Simone Inzaghi will start Joaquin Correa against Hellas Verona and will give Hakan Calhanoglu a more free role in midfield, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Turkish midfielder will still be playing in his normal role on the right-hand side of the midfield three, but he will be given more creative freedom than normal.

This is likely because Simone Inzaghi wants to build on the penalty he scored against Juventus and try and get a more productive run of form out of the midfielder.

Lautaro Martinez is suspended for the match tomorrow against Hellas Verona so Joaquin Correa is expected to start in his place, rather than Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez.

Ivan Perisic will hold his place on the left-hand side rather than Robin Gosens making his first start for the club which will probably be against Spezia.
