Inter will not be able to make a move for either Juventus’s Paulo Dybala or Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku this summer unless they first offload Alexis Sanchez.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Libero, who report that getting the wages of Sanchez off their books will be a necessary condition for signing either Dybala or Lukaku.

The Chilean does still have another season left on his contract, but the Nerazzurri can terminate it a year early with the payment of a severance.

Given that Sanchez earns a net of €7.5 million per season, he is one of the club’s highest earners, and it could prove to be difficult to accommodate another major signing with him still at the club.

Lukaku would be willing to lower his current wages significantly to join Inter, but would still command a high salary, whilst Dybala will want an amount similar to what he was asking for from Juventus.

Accordingly, neither would likely be feasible signings without first seeing the departure of Sanchez.
