Inter remain the team best-placed to sign defender Bremer from Torino this summer, but they will have to see off competition from city rivals AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Rossoneri could use the Granata’s interest in midfielder Tommaso Pobega to get a deal done for Bremer, but that Inter are still in pole position.

The Nerazzurri have made Bremer their major target in defense for the summer transfer window, and they are hoping to get a deal done for him at a total value of around €25 million.

Inter have proposed a cash-plus-player offer including Federico Dimarco, but the Granata do not want to do a deal which values the 24-year-old at more than €10 million as part of an offer, and prefer a straight cash offer.

Meanwhile, Torino retain an interest in keeping Pobega on a permanent basis, which the Rossoneri could use as part of a deal for Bremer, though they are themselves reluctant to part with Pobega.
