Italian journalist Ivan Zazzaroni feels that Inter have the slight edge in the Scudetto race over the likes of AC Milan and Napoli.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Deejay, the journalist suggested that the Serie A title race is essentially balanced but that the Nerazzurri have the best chance, while also admitting that he is personally rooting for Napoli.

The three teams at the top of the Serie A table are all very closely bunched together, with Inter potentially just point behind AC Milan and level with Napoli should they win their game in hand.

This means that all three teams will feel that they have a very concrete chance to go on and win the Serie A title, and that the race is likely to go down to the wire between at least two of the teams.

The closeness between the teams this far into the campaign means that it would be hard for one of the trio to become commanding favourites, though Zazzaroni feels that the Nerazzurri are, on paper, the best-equipped of the three.

“I say 40% Inter, 30% Milan and 30% Naples,” he said for the Serie A title, “even a top coach said Inter, but I have a liking for Napoli, I don’t deny it and I don’t hold back.”
