Over 60,000 spectators will be at the San Siro for this evening’s Serie A clash between Inter and San Siro.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the stadium will not quite be sold out but that the crowd in attendance will still be significant.

Inter will be able to welcome fans into the San Siro without restrictions for the first time since the start of the pandemic this evening, with the restrictions having lifted at the start of the month.

Last weekend the Nerazurri travelled to Turin to face Juventus, where they beat the Bianconeri 1-0 in front of a packed house in the first round of matches without any limitations on crowd capacities.

Inter have been glad to welcome fans back into the San Siro after having played the entirety of last season as well as the end of the 2019-20 entirely behind closed door.

The club have seen a boost in revenue whilst the team have also gotten a big lift on the pitch in the form of fans urging them on, and now can enjoy this to its fullest extent during the climax of the season.
