Inter are considering a move for Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi in the summer transfer window, though they’d face competition from Juventus and AC Milan for his signature.

This according to yesterday’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 34-year-old is looking likely to depart from the Biancocelesti and that the Nerazzurri are among the clubs interested.

Lazio are inching towards signing AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli on a free transfer during the summer transfer, and if this were to happen then Acerbi would likely be headed for the exit door.

Inter are looking for defensive reinforcements during the summer window, and Acerbi could be targeted for a reunion with former Biancocelesti coach Simone Inzaghi.

The Bianconeri and the Rossoneri are also seriously interested in signing Acerbi to bolster their own backlines as well, while Lazio would likely set an asking price of €6-7 million.
