Inter wingback Ivan Perisic has rejected an offer to join a major club in the Turkish Super Lig.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 33-year-old’s entourage received an offer from an intermediary for a top side in Turkey but that he immediately indicated that he’s not interested in joining.

Perisic’s current deal at the Nerazzurri is set to expire at the end of June, and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to agree on an extension with the club.

The Croat could decide to look at a move away, with some potential links to teams in the Premier League and the Bundesliga as plausible destinations for him should he decide to depart on a free transfer during the summer window.

However, the wingback is not interested in the proposal from the Turkish team, and would prefer to agree a new deal at Inter as it stands.
