Inter wingback Ivan Perisic was his team’s standout performer, and Joaquin Correa their worst in yesterday evening’s 2-0 Serie A win over Hellas Verona according to Italian media.

Perisic was given an exemplary 8/10 grade for his display in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, whilst Correa received a score of just 5.5/10.

Perisic kept his excellent season going with display which was full of energy even after he was moved from wingback to second striker in the second half, and saw him notch assists for both of the Nerazzurri’s goals.

Meanwhile, Correa started the match in place of the suspended Lautaro Martinez, and while the Argentine had some dangerous flourishes and seemed to have a good understanding with his teammates, he was let down by his decision-making at times.

For the Corriere, Correa’s display was not at the same level as his teammates due to this lack of real impact in the final third, though he was hardly terrible on the night.
