Inter striker Edin Dzeko finished his goal well to cap off a fine individual and team performance in the first half of their 2-0 win over Hellas Verona yesterday evening and give the team breathing room.

The Bosnian’s excellent display was recognized in the form of high ratings across the board in the player ratings in Italian media for the match, as reported by L’Interista.

Dzeko gave one of his most convincing displays of the season, showing all of his technical ability and understanding of the game to lead the line and stitch things together in the final third as the Nerazzurri put Verona to the sword.

Then, the 36-year-old was on hand to finish from Ivan Perisic’s cross to make it 2-0, capping off a mature and impactful display.

The Corriere dello Sport awarded Dzeko a score of 7/10 for his display, whilst all of TuttoMercatoWeb, L’Interista, and the Gazzetta dello Sport went as high as 7.5/10.
