Alexis Sanchez has fallen down in the pecking order of Inter’s attacking options as a likely summer exit draws closer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 33-year-old is less and less in favour as he inches towards the exit door at the end of the current season.

Sanchez was not used in Inter’s 2-0 win over Hellas Verona over the weekend despite the suspension of Lautaro Martinez, with Joaquin Correa given the start alongside Edin Dzeko before Ivan Perisic was then moved into the position.

The Chilean has had his contribution to make this season, particularly in December and January, but it now looks all but certain that the club will offload him during the summer transfer window.

For a spell, Sanchez appeared to be the main alternative to the starting pair in attack or even a consideration to be the first-choice starter, but his role in the team during the run-in could be reduced as the club move on from him.
