Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is considering giving a start to Federico Dimarco and Robin Gosens in the team’s Serie A clash with Spezia on Friday.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that one or both of the pair could be in the starting eleven for the Nerazzurri’s trip to Liguria.

Gosens has yet to make a starting appearance for the Nerazurri since joining from Atalanta in January, having found Ivan Perisic difficult to displace given the Croat’s imperious form.

However, Friday’s match could be the right opportunity for the 27-year-old to show his quality from the start after having already shown flashes in his substitute appearances so far.

Meanwhile, Dimarco did well in his start against former club Hellas Verona on Saturday, and the coach is also increasingly considering starting him against Spezia especially since Alessandro Bastoni is one booking away from suspension ahead of their clash with Roma.
