More than 70,000 spectators are expected to be in attendance for Inter’s Coppa Italia sem-final second leg clash with AC Milan at the San Siro next week.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the San Siro has already sold out for the clash, which will be the first full house at the stadium in over two years.

Stadiums in Italy have been back to full capacity since the beginning of the month, but neither Milan’s match against Bologna nor Inter’s against Hellas Verona were sellouts.

Both had been higher than any other attendances at the stadium since the beginning of the pandemic, but there were tickets that did not sell out.

For the Milan derby next Tuesday, however, there will be no empty seats, as the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri play out a massive derby clash in the context of their seasons.
