Inter could get a boost in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes if the French side are to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Mesaggero, who report that the Argentine would likely be headed for the exit door if Milinkovic-Savic is signed.

Paredes is a player who Inter have been linked with in the past, and they are reportedly looking at him as a potential deputy for Marcelo Brozovic heading into next season.

The 27-year-old has one season left on his current deal with PSG, and the Parisians could be ready to sacrifice him as they aim to shake up their midfield this summer.

Milinkovic-Savic is one of their key targets for the window, although the player reportedly prefers a move to Juventus.

Biancocelesti President Claudio Lotito, however, is aiming to sell the Serbian midfielder abroad, to PSG or Manchester United, rather than within Serie A.

Should PSG be successful in their pursuit of Milinkovic-Savic, then they will almost certainly offload Paredes, and in this case the Nerazzurri could move for him.
