Inter could decide to use part of the fee from a sale of Lautaro Martinez to fund a move for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, as well as offering Andrea Pinamonti as part of the deal.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are formulating a plan to make the signing of Scamacca straightforward.

Scamacca is still the Nerazzurri’s main target in attack, with the 22-year-old having the right profile to replace Edin Dzeko in the long term and build the attack around for the future.

The Neroverdi will not allow the striker to go for cheap, but Inter could be ready to sacrifice Martinez to fund other transfer business this summer.

Should Martinez be sold, then there will certainly be cash on hand to sign Scamacca even considering the self-financing model being pursued, while the club could also offer Pinamonti as part of a cash-plus-player offer to convince Sassuolo.
