Inter have an agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes on a possible summer move.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 27-year-old has already said yes to the Nerazzurri, whilst PSG could allow him to leave for around €15 million.

Inter have made a player who can back up Marcelo Brozovic a priority in the summer transfer window, and Paredes is a player with the right profile to deputize for the 29-year-old.

The Nerazzurri have already been linked with Paredes in the past, as a part of a potential swap deal for Brozovic, and would be keen to reignite their pursuit of the Argentine to play alongside Brozovic instead.

Given that Paredes’s current deal with the Parisians is set to expire at the end of June 2023, they would be ready to let him go this summer rather than lose him on a free transfer, and €15 million is around what it would take to sign the former Empoli and Roma man.
