Inter have already sold 60,000 tickets for the home match against Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma side and will open up the third tier as well, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, there is a clear enthusiasm from Nerazzurri fans as tickets for upcoming matches at the Giuseppe Meazza have been flying off of the shelves.

The match against AS Roma has not actually been given a definitive date yet but despite that, over 60,000 tickets have already been sold. Stadiums are now allowed to open to 100% capacity in Italy which is why the number are so high now.

Because of the demand for what is a very big game and a tough test for the Nerazzurri, they will be opening up the third tier which sometimes stays closed if it is not a sold-out game.

Inter have also broken the Coppa Italia gate receipts record for the game against AC Milan next week.
