Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi would be signed by Inter if the Nerazzurri have to sell Nicolo Barella this summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by the print edition of Corriere dello Sport this morning, Nicolo Barella is one of four Inter players who could potentially leave if a big enough bid comes in from another club.

The Nerazzurri must end the transfer window with a profit of around €60-70 million and a wage budget reduction of 10-15%. That means one valuable player must leave.

Nicolo Barella has been linked with French side Paris Saint Germain but there are teams all over the continent who would be willing to sign him and would pay a big fee for the Italian.

If that were to happen, Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi would be Inter’s first port of call as he has long been linked with the club as a backup for Nicolo Barella.
