Spezia goalkeeper Ivan Provedel has said that Inter have great strikers and are a super team ahead of the match on Friday evening, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Speaking during a recent interview, via FCInternews, Ivan Provedel explained that he is very aware of the quality that Inter’s strikers have and he hopes he will not have much work to do during the match.

“Inter have great strikers and they are a super team. Lautaro, Dzeko, Perisic, Correa. I hope I don’t have to do much, but we will try to oppose it, that’s for sure.”

Inter are the top scorers in the division this season despite the fact that in 2022 they have not scored anywhere near as many goals as many expected them to score.

Spezia have been hovering just above the relegation battle and Ivan Provedel feels that they are almost safe but he does not want to say it until they are mathematically safe.

“Are we safe? Let’s say that we have almost done it, but I don’t want to talk until the numbers prove us right.”

The young goalkeeper had an excellent performance against Inter towards the end of last season and it came just after the birth of his son.

“In 2020-21 we came from a base, from a coach who imposed his game, from a promotion. This year, a new coach, a new team, many young players, we assembled along the way.

“I had become the father of my son Alexander two days before, I was very sleepy, but had a lot of adrenaline. I made some saves that I remember well, the team held up, we were in a different position from today in the standings. On Saturday we have to win and we will give everything to do it.”
