Simone Inzaghi has identified three Inter players that can be crucial to Inter’s final few games of the season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the three players in question are Stefan de Vrij, Hakan Calhanoglu and Lautaro Martinez, and they have been focused on for different reasons.

Stefan de Vrij has not had his best season but he showed against Hellas Verona in his return from injury that he is crucial for the Nerazzurri, who are now the best defence in the division.

Hakan Calhanoglu showed his best Inter form earlier in the season but has since dipped like many other players. He has shown glimpses in the last two games of his creative best though and Simone Inzaghi will be demanding more of that in the last few games.

Lautaro Martinez simply must return to form for the last seven Serie A games and the Coppa Italia semi-final as he is good enough to decide games by himself.
