Inter President Steven Zhang is still in Milan working closely with the club and has forged an excellent relationship with head coach Simone Inzaghi, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Inter President appears to have undergone a transformation in the eyes of many recently.
Before he was viewed as a studious businessman but his extended stay in Italy and wild celebrations when Hakan Calhanoglu scored against Juventus have shown that he is emotionally invested in the fate of the team.
He arrived in January from China and was expected only to stay for the transfer window but he has remained in place and could be at Viale della Liberazione until the end of the season.
His regular in-person contact with Simone Inzaghi means that the pair have formed an excellent working relationship over the past few weeks.
